Grant Aviation is a regional airline serving multiple destinations across Alaska. The goal of this project was to rebuild their static website into a modern, scalable, and dynamic platform that reflects their brand identity, improves usability, and integrates seamlessly with their flight booking system.
I developed the website entirely from scratch using WordPress with Sage (Blade templates), TailwindCSS for styling, and ACF to manage dynamic content efficiently. Work included creating reusable components, setting up flexible custom fields, implementing dynamic content rendering, and ensuring responsiveness across devices — all without using a page builder.
The major challenges were integrating the homepage booking form with the airline’s external portal (flygrant.tflite.com) and developing an interactive route map that updates visually based on departure and destination selections.
Solutions included custom PHP functions in Sage, AJAX for real-time updates, JavaScript for interactive map logic, and ACF to manage dynamic content efficiently while keeping the system maintainable.
The website now offers a seamless, interactive user experience with dynamic route mapping, integrated booking, and responsive design. The client received a scalable, modular platform with clean code and easy content management via ACF.
